Keller Independent School District in Tarrant County, Texas, covers a 51-square-mile radius and serves over 35,000 students. Keller ISD was facing significant health issues with a majority of its employees. Nearly 51% of the employee population had a high biometric risk or chronic condition.
Keller ISD needed a partner to help them address the most common chronic condition risk factors affecting their workforce, including obesity, hypertension, diabetes, high triglycerides, metabolic syndrome, depression, and asthma.
Keller ISD partnered with Marathon Health to open an onsite health center for its employees and their families, providing access to high-quality care.
With a focus on primary care, the school district has utilized Marathon Health to provide several services to its employees, including biometric screenings, chronic health condition management, and behavioral health services. This has resulted in a higher employee engagement rate utilizing health screenings and seeking treatment for various health conditions.
